This year, Fair Haven is walking in The Grand Parade to raise essential funds for seniors in our care — and every step we take brings us closer to improving their home.
Our Lodges in Burnaby and Vancouver are warm, welcoming places where more than 200 seniors live with dignity, comfort, and connection. But like any well-loved home, they need ongoing care and updates. Many parts of our buildings are decades old, and some areas — like our flooring — have seen thousands of footsteps over the years.
Your donation will directly support capital improvements in our aging buildings, with a priority on replacing worn flooring at both Lodges. New, slip-resistant flooring will:
- Make our spaces safer for residents, visitors, and staff
- Reduce trip hazards for those with mobility challenges
- Brighten and refresh common areas and private rooms
- Create a more home-like, comfortable environment
These improvements are not cosmetic extras — they’re essential investments in safety and quality of life for the seniors who call Fair Haven home.
