As a Registered Nurse, your skills and experience will be a great asset in assisting our residents with the activities of daily living – physical, social, emotional, spiritual, cultural – all of which helps our residents to live their fullest lives. You are a role model and team leader in providing and coordinating individualized resident care, working closely with the interdisciplinary team to ensure quality resident-focused care.

This compassionate role will provide you with the opportunity to use your talents and abilities in care, develop strong relationships, hone your keen eye for details, and demonstrate good judgement. We value individuals with a passion for the welfare of our seniors and an innate desire to do good. Plus, you get to work among a great community of people with a wealth of experience!

Registered nurses who are interested in a career with Fair Haven require a Nursing diploma and current practicing registration with the College of Registered Nurses of British Columbia (CRNBC). Looking for a rewarding way to serve your community?

Join our team of dedicated volunteers at Fair Haven Home Society and make a positive impact in the lives of those in need. We are seeking individuals who are passionate about making a difference and willing to give their time and skills as a member of our dynamic Board of Directors. Working closely with our Leadership team, our Board serves an essential role in supporting our mission to provide a safe, secure, respectful, and inclusive environment for the seniors we serve. Focused on person-centred service, we strive to provide the highest quality of life and nurture a vibrant community for our long-term care residents and independent living tenants.

Fair Haven is an industry leader in providing housing and long-term care for seniors. As a member of our Board of Directors, you will be a part of a dedicated team responsible for Fair Haven’s overall governance and stewardship. Our current  Board members offer a wide range of skills and experience that guide Fair Haven to meet our goals and in planning our future. With your talents and abilities, you will provide good leadership, demonstrate analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills, show good judgment, and develop strong relationships.

We value individuals with a passion for the welfare of our seniors and an innate desire to do good. This role will provide you with the opportunity to support seniors’ care, expand your network, gain experience in governance and leadership, and contribute to your community.

We are prioritizing the recruitment of new Board members with skills and experience in health care, marketing, fundraising, legal and property development.

While we prefer that Board members have previous experience in governance,  we recognize that serving on a non-profit Board can be  a wonderful learning experience. We will provide governance and other relevant training and ongoing educational opportunities. Plus, you get to work with a great community of people with a wealth of experience!
